Ange Yaghi wanted to create authentic sounds of an engine purely through physics-based modeling. This model allows one to put in the physical characteristics of the engine, even substituting high-performance parts, and includes the sounds of the pistons, the resistance of the air around the vehicle, the sound traveling through the exhaust system, engine-braking (negative horsepower), designed to simulate almost any engine — even those that don’t currently exist or could probably not exist in the current world.
Honestly, I won’t be satisfied until this engine can be used to simulate the Lambo Idling sample used for drums on Van Halen’s Hot For Teacher.
