An anonymous team has made an open-source emulation of the DSP chip that ran the Virus B/C and a ton of other 90's virtual analogs. Right now, the only one they have working is the Virus, but it really works. A handful of sounds don't seem to translate correctly, but 99% of everything sounds just like the real deal. Highly recommend it!
Available for Mac, PC, and Linux in AU and VST formats, currently this emulation only supports emulating the Access Virus synths but hopes to soon emulate the Nord, Waldorf, and Supernova synths.

I like how they tell you "we cannot provide rom files so you will need to make your own arrangements" knowing anyone can find them with one Google search.
Society outsmarted by the digital age again. Is it theft or open source powered inevitability? Totally rhetorical...
